This place is wonderful. I pulled out my husband's winter wool coat to take with us on a trip the morning we were leaving. When I remembered that the zipper was completely broken. My husband loved the coat, so fixing it needed to be the option. Well, we were leaving the city around 4pm and at 9am I started calling places to see if they could fix a zipper on a coat that day. I called five different places, all had at least good reviews, but none of them could do what I needed. Then I decided to call Misty Alterations, even though there was not a review, I took a chance. The lady there said if I could get the coat over there in the next half hour or so, she would see what she could do. I was there in no time, and she said they would be able to do it but would need to charge me the same day upgrade fee. I said no problem before I even knew the cost to replace the zipper and the fee. When she told me it would be $25 total, I nearly dropped. Other places I was calling the basic fee started at $40. I picked the coat up and it was perfect. You cannot even realize that the zipper did not come with the coat. I was totally amazed. I could not thank Misty Alterations enough for the quickness and great pricing. I highly recommend checking them out. The shop is very, very basic but the people and service is wonderful!
