User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe jingle about a helpful smile in every aisle...I go in and see a helpful smile and a kind lady named Judy. She is in the deli department. She slices my DeLuso meats for me. She always asks if I have to work that day. She asks about my grandchildren. She asks how I am doing. I recently lost my sister to cancer and she comes around the counter to give me a hug. She, Judy, is a large part of why I shop at Hy-Vee in Belton.. There is one other lady that is very nice. She is a cashier named Linnette. She is an older lady. She asks about my job and my working hours. She knows where I work (Macy's) and asks about how busy I am. She is never too busy to ask about how I am. Judy and Linnette are both very nice people. Judy knows me better. Even if I don't need the deli, I stop to say hi to her, just because of her friendliness and helpfullness.

I was at Hy Vee today and had some problems due to the construction. Glenn Hunt was on his lunch break. I had met him earlier in the day when he was stocking freezers. I told him of my problem getting a cart full of groceries out to my car. He came over to the check out line, while on his lunch break and pushed my cart to the car and unloaded all my purchases into my car for me. This is why I keep shopping at my Hy Vee store. I told Glenn that you could use me in one of your commercials about the helpful smile in every aisle. Sandra S. Belton, Mo.
