User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAlone at the Top for Ice Cream Novelties!: Custard's Last Stand is an ice cream shop that also sells flavored popcorn. This store proves that you don't need to be a known chain like Dairy Queen nor do you have to sell a variety of novelties to do ice cream right.
Their main treat is the concrete. Similar to the DQ blizzard, it's a frozen mixture of flavors blended into a plastic cup. My current favorite is the PB&B - peanut butter and brownies, but there is a great variety of choice for those of varied tastes.
This is the place for the treats in Blue Springs. The Dairy Queen in Blue Springs went out of business recently so this is the only place local to Blue Springs that offer an ice cream novelties menu. Support local businesses - go to Custard's!
