Wonderful Time there: The Paradise playhouse never seems to disappointment us, good food, great acting, wonderful surroundings. We can never wait to come again!
A Girls Night Out!: My girlfriend and I went on a "Girls Night Out". Neither of us have ever been to the Playhouse. We were greeted by the most beautiful Hawaiian ambiance you can imagine. Colours were vivid, and so wonderfully placed. The bar server was a Hawaiian dressed lady who greeted us warmly. She kept up a very good conversation as she made us one of the most amazing strawberry daquri's I have ever had. We were shown to a waiting room. The room was beautiful! Sipping our drinks waiting for the doors to open our ears were blessed with the sounds of soft music and a gentle waterfall. When the doors were opened we were seated by a smartly dressed man. The tables were gorgeous. Seated the waitress asked our names introduced herself and the entire night she remembered our names along with Im sure everyone else in our section! The food was a delight on our tongues! Not to mention the desserts!!! WOW!!! As for the play "The Odd Couple The Female Version" I do not think I have ever laughed so hard in my life!!!! A true delight! A++++ If you ever make it to Excelsior Springs this is a MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!!
Fabulous Food and Fun-filled Plays: The food is wonderful. The buffet always has something for everyone ... from me (mostly-vegetarian) to my picky-eater, meat-loving wife. And if you don't overstuff yourself at the buffet, the dessert menu has some really tasty offerings.
The theater itself is small and cozy. Not a bad seat in the house! The decorations and pre-play music are Hawaiian (the real stuff ... I have yet to hear, "Tiny Bubbles".)!
The plays are mostly comedies. We've gone home many times with sides aching from laughter ... that's a good thing!
The staff is friendly, and the service is quick and reliable.
We love everything about Paradise Playhouse, and we think you will, too.
