Kobe' Japanese Steak House

The best meal I've ever eaten in my life and the chef was wonderfully entertaining as well. It was rather expensive, but it was worth it to me.

This was our first time trying Kobe'. We went to the Independence location on Friday around 5pm so it wasn't crowded and we got right in. The waitress we had was very pleasant and bubbly. Very prompt with our water and drinks and whatever else we needed. Our cook was pleasant, cooked our order correctly and it tasted great. The "show" was average, leaving us to wonder if he was new. Before trying Kobe' we usually went to SAMARI CHEF on 40 Hwy. We always have a great time there and were pretty much comparing Kobe' to them. SIDE BY SIDE - WE WILL STAY WITH SAMARI CHEF. While our experience with Kobe' was pleasant, Samari takes it up a notch and I feel like we get more for our money and great service. The "show" is more involved and entertaining, the portions are larger (I'm used to taking home A LOT of leftovers - didn't happen at Kobe') At Samari Chef, you get everything we got at Kobe', but you also get low mien noodles, larger portions of veges and meats, and sherbet for dessert - all included in your meal price. Not to mention it all tastes delicious. With the price of a combo meal being around $20, I feel that Samari Chef is a better value when we get a couple of meals out of the leftovers.

The best hibachi place I've ever gone to. I'm asian and I've gone to many steakhouses but this one is the best. Their sauce is excellent and the service is great. I could eat there everyday if I could.
