About:Michael Garozzo, his wife Marguerite and their four daughters own and operate Kansas City's most awarded and popular Italian restaurant. Garozzo's boasts fine dining cuisine, moderately priced, in a family atmosphere.     I.ve been to the original location for Garozzo's and I got to admit I (we) enjoyed it much more than the one in Olathe. We had a party of 4 and it was one of the persons birthday, we weren't able to celebrate it on her exact day so come Friday we were there gifts and all, even a birthday cake and when we told them that it was her birthday they pretty much said to bad since this wasn't the exact day no "free dinner". They tried to offer us coffee instead. And to make matters worse they decided to round UP our bill to the nearest $$$. Uh hello that does not make for good customer service. I don't think we'll be returning. I wonder how much extra they make at the end of the evening from just round-ups!!!

    It was ok I like Villa Capri on 80 something and Metcalf much better but Garozzos is ok

    I love Garozzo's, except the food portions are way too much! Service was great, wait staff delightful and food was excellent! It is crowded in there, but I loved the ambiance! Like eating in your mom's kitchen! Definitely a nice place to eat!
