We are in the process of looking for a Grand Caravan and we went to this place and all I can say is WOW! This place is really bad! This past Monday we stopped at Landmark because we found a Grand Caravan, online, that we were interested in. When we showed up we looked around and waited to be helped. Four guys passed us on the lot and not one of them offered to help! None of them was with a customer and two of the four were goofing off with each other. We finally decided to leave, and as we were leaving a salesman finally approached us. We told him that we were looking for the 2006 Grand Caravan that we had seen online, and he told us it had been sold earlier that day, which was not a problem for us. We realized they didn't have time to take it down. He then tried to offer us one of their many 2005 Grand Caravans and we told him that we wanted the 2006 IN A SPECIFIC PRICE RANGE. So, he gave us his card and took our information and told us he would call as soon as he got something in our price range. The next day (Tuesday), he called and told us that he had a 2006 Grand Caravan, that it needed a little work because it was just traded in, but he wanted to know if we were interested. My husband then asked and was ASSURED that it was indeed in our price range, so he said yes we were interested. The car dealer then said he would call us back as soon as it was done. He called back on Friday, my husband asked again whether it was in our price range because he didn't want to waste our time or theirs (the dealership) if it wasn't, and he assured us again that it was. We then went down to see it. The car dealer we had been dealing with was unavailable (he was with another customer, which was fine) so we ended up working with another guy. We test drove it and it had a problem with the door which they we going to fix anyway. We then sat down to talk numbers and they told us the price was $5000 above our price range!!! My husband and I were in shock! We sat there only about 5 minutes more talking with the guy about the price and we knew he would never come down enough so we left. Did they really think that by calling us down there, we wouldn't leave with these tactics?? On top of it, as we were leaving, the salesman we were dealing with this time also told us he would contact us a soon as he had something in our price range. We will not be going back!
I am beyond pissed! They wasted our time, were rude to begin with, and lied to boot! I will NEVER buy a car from this lot! I knew that car dealerships tend to be dishonest, but I didn't realize that it could be this bad!!!! By the way, the lying salesman we dealt with to begin with was Mike Stanley.
These are the rudiest biggest liars I have ever dealt with in the car business! My husband and I came in to make a purchase after speaking to a sales person on the phone, the salesman told us the van we had found online was being looked at by another person so if we was interested we needed to come in as soon as possible, within 2 hours we came up there, we was approach by a sales person within 2 seconds on the lot (it was like we was dinner for the vultures) we asked the man that approached us about the van, he proceeded to tell us it was sold the day before! COME TO FIND OUT, he was the same person my husband had spoken to on the phone! Needless to say we found another vehicle that sparked our interest, so we test drove it and it was great! Started working numbers and came to a price we both agreed on, and then went home so that we could get everything we needed taken care of and from there nothing but more lies, unreturned phone calls!
I cosigned for a 2008 dodge truck there, the rear bumper where you put your tow ball was not lined up correctly, when taken to service they advised me it was my fault etc the guy in service was rude and so was the manager over him, i wanted too talk with the district supervisor and they told me i could not talk to him and would not give me his number in which i got from there competitor anyway, i decided not to call him after the way i was treated,the person that i cosigned for still takes the truck there because they are close to where he lives, but i bought a pt from them and it will never be taken to there service department ever, the sales staff is great but service is very rude!!!!!!!!
