I just left after getting a memorial tattoo today for my boyfriend. I love you Bootlegger!! You are AMAZING! Not only was his work A+, but both he and his daughter were very kind and supportive. This was not my first time in Bootlegger's shop...I always find it to be a clean, relaxed and welcoming environment. My boyfriend had his tattoo done there a in June and was also pierced there in August. I will be back soon to see Dr. Needles for my piercings too- she does an awesome job. This isn't your typical "rush them in and out to see how much we can make today" kind of shop. He puts his heart and soul into his work and it's obvious by the outcome.
I'd also like to point out that Mike is right where he should be...Icon is a 3 star shop and he isn't very experienced. A newby like Mike doesn't have the skill to be in a 5 star shop like Bootleggers unless he is under apprenticeship as he was.
P.S. I always find it funny when someone takes the time to go over the internet to slander someone...I'm betting the person/people who are saying the negative comments wouldn't have the guts to say that to Bootlegger. It's a testament of character. Just something to keep in mind when you read the reviews. ~ Thanks, Mandy
For anyone who is a little apprehensive about getting a tattoo or piercing,I assure you that this is the place to go very clean, very professional and very sensitive to what you want and why. I have been a customer there since they opened. I would send my children there because I have all the faith in the world in Bootlegger and Dr. Needles. Love you guys!
NO WAY! I was thinking of letting my son get his first tattoo there, until we walked in. The floor was dirty, the girl in there was rude and the very strong smell of pot was drifting out of the back room. NO WAY NEVER!

Yeah ,so your little comment about the floor being dirty is crap and especially the smell of pot comment,hahahah........I find it to be quite offensive to my very close friends at bootlegger. People always seem to want to stereo type people. Tattoo artists and body piercers are obviously free spirits but I will assure you that Bootlegger nor Dr. Needles would ever put there 13 year old business at risk by having drugs in there strictly regulated business if any one knows anything about state regulations they would not be open as long as they have been with out abiding by there rules. I would also like to add that just because you can smell " pot" does not mean it is being used in that location. I dont know how many times I go into walmart or a dining area and can smell "pot" this doesnt mean the people of Walmart are smoking pot or the girl that is waiting on me is smoking pot. How can you be so judgemental on one incident. Every business and or person deserves fair criticism, but this is a little rediculous. I have been going to Bootlegger since they opened and I am a very close friend. I will continue to support their business. They are very clean and professional people not to mention very loving and caring people.
