I grew up on the island of Okinawa, Japan, and dearly miss the traditional cuisine. Matsu's has it all: katsu-don, donburi, tempura, sashimi, sushi, sukiyaki, you name it! I treated my Okinawan friend to dinner there and she said it was the closest thing to home she had ever eaten in the U.S. Worth the cost!

Everybody in this board don't know what they are talking about. Real sushi is made by Japanese people. Ask around. This place is expensive and bad. The worst sushi place in NY is better then this dump. I hope I don't get sick tonight.

Uhhh, Mastu is Okinawan. That is Japanese. I am from Okinawa and I have been there so I know. If you are American, trust me, you haven't had real sushi. You just THINK you have.

Best Sushi Find In KC: I've been to all the KC places, Kona, Sushi Gin, Sushi House, but this place is by far and away my favorite. Great Westpost location, their spicy tuna and Kama Roll are my favs, but I also like their tempura and noodle soups. It's a three-story place, but get a place close to the sushi bar and watch the team go to town on your order. It's fun. Thumbs way up!
