    KC Smokestack still has the best beans, best burnt ends, and best smoked sliced beef in town, and that's saying something in the BBQ capital of the world. The ribs are also very good. The complaints contained in the older reviews about service and decor have definitely been remedied for some time. I've been eating here since we moved to KC in 1985.

    Smokestack is good but Jack Stack's BBQ is the best in the country.....period. I'm in a new city almost every week and nothing compares. You can't beat the wood grill.

    KC BBQ IS great! Unfortunately, the below reviews are not even focused on food. Kansas city BBQ IS great! Anywhere from a small local joint, to a larger scale restaurant. Don't be bothered by the hateful people that jump on here to talk dirty to each other! Just try the food! LOL!
