These reviews are dated but still relevant. I enjoyed the food but I make my return trip based on the service. Someone noted before, the servers forget you are there. That's true!!! I had to get up and tell them we were ready to order. Later they asked if we wanted dessert, and we looked at the menu and he said he would be back. When he finally came back, he brought the check. It was only 8:30. Oh well, they were nice, just??? Also most of the entrees were around $14.00 too. Maybe I'll try the other location but the food was decent.

You know you are in a good local hole-in-the-wall when it gets packed at dinnertime. Visited with 2 co-workers on the recommendation of a local while visiting Kansas City and were not disappointed with the variety and quality of the menu. Hummus was outstanding (could have had more) and the Flaming Cheese delicious. Portion size is incredible. A visit to the restroom downstairs is a bit of an adventure and those washroom facilities could use an overhaul.

Nice Place: I like the food, love the atmosphere. Good luck with getting attention from the servers though...(they tend to forget your there)
