I went to Lidias on the 14th of October and it was a planned trip from my grandson who knows how much I admire lidia and her cooking shows. He was so exited to take me there he came with me even though he was sick with a virus. We ordered apertizers and they were not bad Octopus could have been cooked more and with more taste. We had Calamari and and some sort of fritata. We ordered the pasta special and When the raviloi came it was in a watery sauce and then the meat pasta arirved in clumps and was dried out dried out to the point that you could choke. The Squash Pasta was tasteless. My Son did tell the waiter that his pasta was not eatible he brough him pasta with marinara sauce and that too was terrible. When he saw that I did not eat my pasta he did not inquire as to why.

I have seen Lidia cook these pastas on television and they looked wonderful.

I did speak to the manager and made this complaint . He tried to fix the wrong that had been done to us byt refunding half the money we paid, and offering to have us sit at his table if we returned.

I am just so turned off . I told my children we shoudl have gone to Olive Garden I have never been unhappy with their food.I don't hold it as high as I did Lidias so I don't get disapointed.

I am so sorry I chose Lidias I did not want to get dissapointed

we have been going to Lidia's for many years. It has really progressively gone down hill. I always get the pasta sampler and the last few times the pasta is dry with hardly any sauce. It was a special place for us but we are thinking that we might not go back. Really sad for us because a few years ago, they were great

I agree with some of the other reviews. It was mediocre, not astounding, and for that price it should have been knocking me out of my seat!!!
Food was too salty and not that flavorful. I got the salmon and the only good thing about it was the potatoes it was served with. Just not that interesting. Also there were not that many vegetarian options. I was expecting a lot because I like Lidia's show. Didn't live up to my expectations!
