The mogolian bbq is ok and very expensive for 5 yrs old kids ($8) and 2 yrs old ($3) kids who don't eat a lot. Don't bring kids if you want go to this restaurant. We didn't get any menu from the waitress and it surprised us when the bill came...
SOO SOO GOOD. Ive never ordered anything that didnt come out delicious... the Gen. Tso Chicken really is the best in the city. The lady who I assume owns the place is always very nice. The only funny thing is the Sriracha shrimp... I was in LOVE with it... until one of the waitresses told me(I believe accidentally) that it was just "spicy mayo"!!!... be careful what you order I suppose... now I feel like a gross dumb American.. who now mixes Sriracha sauce with mayo on everything.....
This place is great if you're going for the buffet-style Mongolian grill... there are a plethora of wonderful ingredients and sauces to choose from. Go before 4 pm and you'll save some money.
The atmosphere and decor are very nice. The service is always friendly and attentive.
Why only 3 stars? This is a very frustrating restaurant if you plan on ordering off the menu. Not that the menu is bad - it's actually quite good - the problem is that Genghis Khan apparently has a VERY fussy chef with odd hours and who goes on vacation A LOT. The last 3 times we've stopped in there, the chef was gone and most or all menu items were unavailable. In my opinion this is just unacceptable, especially for a place that is always closed on Sundays. From now on we'll be choosing Blue Koi over Genghis.
