| About: | Kansas City is famous for its barbecue, and this restaurant is one of the reasons why. Arthur Bryant's has been serving up slabs of slow cooked pork and beef since the 1930s. The small building is nothing fancy and resides in a sketchy part of town, but diners do not come for the ambiance. Casual dining is an understatement here, where guests line up, sometimes waiting up to 30 minutes, to order at the counter. Be sure to order a plate of greasy, delicious fries, and be prepared for huge portions. |

I ordered a full pork ribs for carryout at Speedway location. It was meatless, dry, extremely hard to chew and seriously overcooked. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner. He was one of the rudest and nastiest person in the world. He never apologized and blamed me not bringing the food back to them. He told me he had no solution for me.
I definitely would not go there any more. Consider the $20 bucks I spent there blown in the wind.
Trust my words. Donât go there to waste your hard earned money. There are many real good BBQ in KC!
Well this company is just the worst I have ever seen on the Internet. They are discriminatory toward ADA which is the Americans with Disabilities Act.I had purchased a set of Hot sauce through this company and was told via email and also on there website that items could be returned as long as in original and unused condition. My brother recently developed a Diabetic Stroke and his doctor said certain items were not to be used by my brother any more and one of them was anything hot which could affect the lining of his stomach. When I called the owner he nastily told me that he did not care anything about anyone with disablilities and none of there products were returnable which is directly oposite of what there website says.I would advise anyone that wants to order this kind of stuff and sauces to order from another company that at least cares about disabled and handicapped people that order from them.I would also like to notify all the famous people that have lent there name to this company for endorcement that they take a look at this company for the practice like this against disabled people and decide to pull there name off of such endorcements.
I went for the first time on a Sunday. I've lived in KC all my life and have Gates mostly. The customer service at AB's is the worst I've ever encountered. Dirty plates and no silverware. When I asked for some forks I was given a very annoyed look. Good luck trying to get a box for leftovers. They give you a piece of paper to wrap it up in. You'll get grease all over your backseat getting it home. My burnt ends were all fat. I guess they exist on all their prior reviews. They really need to step it up. Gates is so much better.
