Peking Chinese Restaurant

Just to tell everyone I am not a big fan of corporate restaurants. I travel a lot and it seems like every where I go the local restaurants are disappearing. The great thing about corporate restaurants the food and service is constant from one location to another. Trying new local restaurants are literally a hit or miss. Peking Chinese Restaurant is one of those few hits you will find when it comes to local restaurants. I prefer their homemade crab ran gons and hot and sour soup. The main dishes are very good. My favorite Chinese food has always been the crab ran goons and hot and sour. Happy Eating...

Fantastic dumplings with the best sauce. These dumplings are actually homemade unlike 99% of the places in Kansas City. The main dishes are tasty, better than most Chinese restaurants and they have awesome prices.

The food here is great. I am a born and raised KCMO native and there's hundreds of random Chinese places you can eat but this place is really good. I've never eaten inside (little too dark and scary for my taste) but I love the General TSO's chicken (spicy) w/ brown rice with broccoli. Ta-ta-ta-ta-tasty tasty! And the little lady@ the desk is very sweet and welcoming. I recommend it to everybody.
