Purchasing process was smooth. But, we also bought a window tinting and all weather package. Scheduled an appointment to get parts installed and from then on it has been a nightmare. Took our vehicle in for installation and the next day we went back to pick it up and nothing, I mean NOTHING was done. It just sat there the whole day. What a waste of my day. The worst part about it is that nobody had the courtesy to call us and let us know. So, I had to leave it for another day. Went back the following day to find out that the guy who installed the all weather package messed up the bumper application. They told us another part should be in monday morning and someone would call us that morning. Waited all morning and NEVER received a call. When I called they said the part would not be in until wednesday at the latest. Talked to the general manager and he seemed irritated about having to deal with our situation. It's just amazing how people think that their time is precious and everyone else's is not important. I just have to say I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. Everytime I spoke to someone at Lees Summit Honda their excuses were it was a misunderstanding. I am a very pleasant and happy person, and hardly ever get this upset. Can't wait until this whole ordeal is finished. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT LEES SUMMIT HONDA'S COMMINUCATION IS IN NO WAY BUSSINESSLIKE. It has made my last couple of weeks a stressful and unpleasant experience.
Be careful here. called and talked to Marty to get a price quote. He called me back and told me they only had one vehicle left on the lot like I wanted. He then said "we want to make some money on this vehicle." He refused to give me a quote. When I pressed him, he put me on hold until I hung up. I will never do business here because of the lack of respect I was given. They didn't want to give me a good deal, they wanted as much money out of me that they could get. I gave this review one star because I didn't know how good they could be.
I just want to say that my experience at Lee's Summit Honda was a very pleasant one. I did not buy my 2005 Honda Accord from them. I bought my car from O'neill Honda, right off the showroom floor. I was having some problems with wear on my driver seat and took it in to O'neill to have the Service Manager look it over and see what could be done. Due to my name change the Service Manager decided that I was the second owner and did not deserve any type of consideration. He was very short and rude to me! Which I take that as meaning if you buy a used car from O'neill you will be treated like a second rate citizan. I have always bought my new cars from O'neill and if it weren't for Jim Custer the Parts Manager, I would probably never set foot in there again. I know by this point you are wondering which dealership it is that I am actually reviewing. So, with all that being said about my bad experience with the Service Manager at O'neill, I would like to say that I had a very good experience with the Service Manager at Lee's Summit Honda. Jim Custer the Parts Manager from O'neill felt bad about what had transpired so he called the Honda Parts & Service Manager and set up a time for him to meet with me at Lee's Summit Honda. Once there I met with not only the Honda rep, but also David Rodgers the Service Director. They were both very helpful and considerate. In fact, from the time I walked through the front door everyone at Lee's Summit Honda was very helpful and friendly.
I would think in this day of job layoffs and a very poor economy that a dealership would want to do everything in their power "not" to lose a valuable customer. It is the little things that keep someone coming back...and the lack of respect or concern for that person and their problem, that keeps them from ever coming back!!
The next new car I buy will be from Lee's Summit Honda. Thanks again David Rodgers.
