User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI'VE BEEN STOPPING AT WHISLER'S SINCE I WAS A LITTLE KID,EVERY TIME WE TRAVELED FROM KC TO TULSA,WE ALWAYS STOPPED FOR LUNCH OR SUPPER.THEY HAVE CHANGED,WE STOPPED IN MARCH AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.I UNDERSTAND THEY HAVE NEW OWNERS AND THEY MUST HAVE CHANGED THE HAMBURGER AND THEY NOW USE VERY STRONG RED ONIONS(GRILLED EVEN)AND THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO THE YELLOW SWEET ONION(VEDALIA WOULD BE NICE),BUT GET BACK TO THE OLD TRIED AND TRUE INGREDIENTS.

When I first moved to Missouri in 1978. Whistlers was where I was taken for a burger.
It's awesome. The people are down home not snobby. They fix great food.
