These people are always pissed off at the world when you go in, poor service and high prices.
EVERY time I take my car there for an oil change or tire rotation there is something wrong with it!!! I got this coupon book that had all this free stuff in it so I wanted to use it. But after using it just a couple time I came to realize that these people make stuff up about my car. I just bought a used car and had 2 mechanics look at it before i bought it. The only thing wrong with it was it needed new tires, so I bought new tires and then I took it to Roberts for a wheel alignment. (free with coupon) I dropped it off and they said they would call when it was done. 20 minutes later they called and refused to do the alignment cause I needed new ball joints in the front!!! NO I DON'T!!! I am tired of this place making things up about my car!!!
I am a single mother and had vehicle issues after issues. I took my van and had a starter replaced and after getting it back it would still die on me and of course in the middle of traffic! I took it back and they stated that everything appeared fine. It wasn't. I then purchased a new vehicle and had them look over it before purchasing it! I was told that the vehicle needed a belt , brakes and of course tires! 1 week later I heard a noise coming from the right brake, so I took it in and they stated that it was ball joints that were about to fall out. $400.00 is what is was going to cost. I was terrified to drive my vehicle because I was afaird that the front would drop. I contacted a couple more people about this issues, because I thought the noise was a rotor issue.
I made an appointment with Ti An Repair. The place found the problem right off the bat! It was my front rotor, go figure. So they were replaced and he suggested that I go ahead and do the back brakes. He did not make me feel as if it were a life and death situation. Roberts in my opinion is a tire place not a full operating mechanical shop. It doesn't seem as if they are very educated (not in a mean way) or if they are then they are taking money from innocent people because it doesn't fix the problem, so they find new things wrong and don't fix the problem so you contuine to bring it back! I am soooo gald that I went with my gut, I saved over 200 dollars. It fixed the problem! To anyone reading this, this is my opinion and my experience with them!
