Smith's Short Stop

Surprisingly good! nice restaurant, friendly staff, varied options rather than the usual diner/short order fare. I had the chicken with asparagus on pasta. Salad was a blend of spring mix and the dressing was excellent.

Only downside, a young employee was observed to be handling cooked fettuccine with bare hands. Need to stop that ASAP.

We'll be back. definitely

My family has worked very hard to earn their reputation. We have great homemade food cooked freshly everyday. My aunt is the most amazing cook and has the best recipies, grandma makes the best pies and cobblers, caleb cooks the best steaks, dad, grandpa, my twin sister jordan, and me are there to provide great service to our customers hoping they will come back for more Smith's! We have a great FOH and BOH Staff, some that have been there from the very beginning. If you like the original restaurant in Collins, MO then be sure to try our new locations in Bolivar, MO and Clinton, MO. Hope to see ya all there!

My family and I have been eating at Smith's for years. Their food is excellent, and the portions are huge! I usually leave with a to-go box for my leftovers. Everything from their home battered onion rings to their GIANT tenderloins-IT'S ALL GOOD! Their sevice is top notch too!!! 5 Gold Stars
