When I went to Madison's, I was very impressed by how knowledgeable the staff was about the menu. My server was able to help my date and me find exactly what we would love even though we were unsure of what we were in the mood for. The food was a little pricey for the amount of food, but I am a true believer in you have to pay for good service! I can definitely see myself going back in the near future and recommend this restaurant to all of my loved ones!
Madison's has the best salad in town, there is simply no comparison. The seafood, steaks and sandwiches are also very good. The pasta seems average to me, but I like mine a bit aldente and with less sauce. The atmosphere is wonderful. Very relaxing and casual but classy. You can go in jeans and a nice top or more dressed up. Its not quite family friendly unless your children are a bit older, but makes a great place for date nights. Service is usually pretty good, though every once in a while you find someone who is either unfriendly or acts like you are at a sports bar. The ladies at the front are usually very nice though. Banquettes and catering are available. We had our Rehearsal Dinner here and it was fantastic.
I wish I could give it an "Excellent", but the quality service would have to be more consistent.
You can't have it your way: I believe that they have the best pasta in town, though over priced. But the owner refused to cook a steak medium well for my husband. What happened to the customer is always right?
