Wonderful service! Planning my daughters wedding and the Seafood/Meat & Floral heads were absolutely delightful to work with! The saying goes "you get what you pay for" and although the floral's prices were a little pricey, they were absolutely stunning and I got compliments on them left and right! The seafood was amazing also! The manager was glad to assist my huge order of cocktail shrimp and was enjoyed by all!
Ive come to this store for years, and I have always loved the friendly people working and always asking to assist you, and the friendly conversations at the checkout lane.
Thank you Gerbes! You have many many satisfied customers in this huge family!
Does not staff sufficiently to ensure quality & convenient shopping experience. Does not maintain courtesy cards at registers in the event a customer forgets their own. Does not update aisle directory board in a timely fashion--may as well not have it. Excepting the liquor clerks, staff are indifferent, and management rude.
The only thing bad that was not saticfactory at Gerbes is that with out the copmuter the cashiers have no clue how much change to give you.

I do agree about the Gerbes cards, however, the clerk usually asks for you to imput your phone number on the keypad in case you have forgotten your card, and if you registered the card like you are asked to do when recieving it, it will take off the ammount owed. I think maybe you and I shop at very different times, because the few times Ive checkout out in liquor I had to wait forver, and just when i was starting to walk away, the guy came from out of the cooler and never apologized and was talking bad about teenagers that try to shoplift. It was awkward! The next time i went, another guy was more concerned about remaining on the phone with (im assuming) his wife or girlfriend. He even talked on the phone while ringing me up! I just never check out in liquor anymore. The staff, i must say is satisfying. Many children i know in my town have gotten their first jobs there (and you have to remember, they are kids!!) For many of them, this is their first job and they may not know everything yet. Ive just shopped there enough to know "who" to ask, and oddly/neat enough, some staff know my name and I dont even remember them!! The cashiers sometimes even make a point to address you by your name (if given a check or an id) Ild like to see walmart do that!
