AVOID this place at all costs. I took my Toyota Celica to these jokers for a new gasket set. They kept my car a week -- twice as long as they promised -- and refused to give me a loaner car or even to pick me up when it was ready. They charged me more than double the estimate: $1,300, though they first said $600. If that's not bad enough, at least two mechanics since have told me they did shoddy work. Go at your own peril!

I took my '98 Audi A8 to Tom's Imports yesterday. They worked on it immediately and fixed the problem right away. The Ignition coil module was defective. They were honest and very efficient. The price of the part replaced was very reasonable. It was worth the trip from Blue Springs !!!!

It's had a really kind of loud noise and Tom's Imports told me 2 weeks when they performed an oil change that the problem was the fuel pump.

Monday Dec 8th, I called to have them order the pump and I took off Wed 12/10/08 to take it, they got the part on Tuesday and they worked on my car on Wednesday, I dropped it off around 10am and they told me 3 hours and they'd call when it's ready.

They called around 3ish PM (that day) to tell me that my car had 2 fuel pumps and they needed to be changed both at the same time, so I told them I didn't have a car and they told me, rent a car, then my wife spoke to the guy, she got upset and told him it was his fault that after 30 years of working with VW and Audis that he didn't know that my car had a secondary pump????.

Well I spoke back to him and asked him to order the secondary pump.

So he ordered that Wed, he got it next day. We went Thurday night, I got the car, paid 622 dollars (paid 300 on Monday so they could order the first pump) and went to the gas station to put some gas, before I got to the gas station across from Perry Nissan "break time I think" filled up the tank and suddenly it started to leak and the whole floor was full of gas.

I paid, I said God please take me back safe to Tom's Imports (Next to Autozone on business loop). I left the car there and left the key in their mailbox, they called me Friday morning and explained what the problem was. They called me on Friday around 1pm, it' ready the pump wasn't adjusted or some like that.

Then I asked for a ride and they called me 4:30pm same Friday 12/12 that they needed the car Friday night to double check it. Went there Saturday afternoon, got the car went to the gas station, the same situation, not that bad, but as soon as I took I-70 started to leak gas again, I smelled and noticed it.

Took the car back and told him that something was really wrong, by the way he told me that the car was fine and it needed new battery that the problem was such. Told him that the problem was the pump, I thought, so he told me he was gonna check with the Audi dealer in KC.

Monday, I didn't call, Yesterday I called and they told me that the problem was the pump and that they ordered a new one from the dealer and they should get it first thing in the morning of Wed 12/17/2008, I called around 3pm Yesterday and he told me that the pump just had gotten in there """5 mins ago""" that he was going to call me when the car was fixed, he repeats that over and over now since I called him Yesterday.

Now he told me that "I just got the pump 5 mins ago", he repeated over and over that he was gonna called me when the car was fixed and he sounded really rude and with a raised tone of voice and also he added I will call you when the car is ready, what part of I'll call you when it's ready you don't understand????", I have to work and I won't be with you on the phone the whole day after I asked him if he could loan me a car because my wife's Dad's truck died and she didn't have a ride now.

They just called to let me know the car was ready.

I'm praying God that this time it's working fine after a week with no car.
