The concept was developed in 1968 and the first Long John Silver's Fish 'n' Chips opened in 1969. Long John Silver's, whose name was inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's classic Treasure Island, found overwhelming acceptance for this new approach.     Fastest Drive Thru in Town: I really like this place. The service is fast, and the food is good. If they ever mess your order up, they are quick to replace it and fix their mistake. I dont think many people know about this place. Dont diss it till u try it.
