I love this place. My family has a cabin at the lake of the ozarks. I have been going there since I was a little girl. It has been a family tradition to stop in Sedalia to eat at Le Maire's on our way to the cabin. I cant wait to go again. The owner, Frenchy, is a true Cajun. Maybe some of these other people have never had REAL Cajun before. It is a great little joint. Not some big chain. Real good cajun food!
Good sea food for people with average standards. Not bad but if they had competition WATCH OUT Le Maire's.
We drove 2 hours for what we thought was going to be authentic cajun food. What a disappoinment. The food was awful and the service was poor. Being from Louisiana, we know what real cajun cooking entails. The rice was dry and sticky and all of the fried food tasted the same.
FYI-- red beans, not baked beans are served in Louisiana. The only good thing about this place was the crushed ice.
