User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was recently involved in a wedding party and we went to the Grotto as part of the Bachelorette festivities. It is truly a dive bar (my favorite kind). But we all had such a good time there!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCheap drinks and friendly crowd: The Grotto is a "hole in the wall" type of place with a lot of regulars. The patrons belong almost exclusively the college crowd, but you will ocasionally see some locals and alumni. The atmosphere is entirely laid back, and the Grotto's regular prices are some of the cheapest I have seen. Unlike most college bars, the bartenders actually know what they are doing. This is my favorite bar.
