A little paintless building with a welcoming porch set back from the road. The sign is small. Easy to miss, but worth the find! Built in the 70's as a replica of an old Missouri settlers cabin, with food to match!! It's family style, choice of either one or two meats and vegetables to share. To start we had their famous spinach salad and of course we went home with a bottle of dressing. There were rolls, potatoes and green beans to share. There was plenty, but you could ask for more! Between us we had country ham, buffalo brisket, beef brisket, smoked pork chop, glazed chicken breast and homestyle fried chicken. We're not desert people, but we couldn't resist the warm peach pie with ice cream. Everything was wonderful. We were able to bring a bottle of wine as they don't serve liquor. Service was excellent. They were so nice, they really made you feel like guests. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant evening.
