If you want great food with horrible service, this is the place for you! You can't blame the staff for their behavior when the owner paves the way. My co-worker had made reservations over 4 months ago for a graduation in Columbia. They had several people coming in from out-of-town and wanted a special place to go. The OWNER called her just days before the graduation saying that they could not make the accommodations that she had reserved just after calling to get her credit card number. She called back the number that had called her and asked again that her accommodations are fulfilled from the reservation she made months ago. The OWNER quickly told her that her complete reservation was now cancelled. Now that is what I call great service! I will head the other way if I hear the name GRAND CRU.

Grand Cru has fantastics steaks, at reasonable prices. Both of those are hard to find in Columbia. Check them out sometime. Smoking lounge next door, Cigars for days.

HORRIBLE!: My boyfriend and I went there for Easter brunch a couple years ago, and it was the most pathetic excuse for service I have ever endured. We had a reservation, and it still took us 20 minutes to get our table after our reservation time, and the restaurant was not even close to half full at the time. After we were seated, our waiter SAW us sitting there, but still did not come over to our table for 10 minutes. He finally got our drink orders-(which were nothing more than a couple of cokes), and he disappeared for another 10 minutes, and finally returned with one beverage, because he forgot the other one. He then directed us towards the buffet, which wasn't even as good as McDonald's breakfast. He never cleared our plates, and I finally had to chase him down to get our bill. We have had several other friends who have had bad experiences there too. We definitely won't go back. It's really a shame, because it is a beautiful establishment.
