Ouch!!! Will provide details of banking nightmare at a later time. Most of the people there are great. Excellent help and service from majority of employees. Getting me set up and going was delightful with insightful help. But I must write about these few awful experiences I had with one of the tellers doing her job without using her most important tool. Will share soon, I must be delicate with my use of words

I banked here for years, even witnessing their change from First Savings to Union Planters and ultimately to Regions. On a few occasions I was stung by the bank industry's secret little money maker; that is, where you buy something and the money is put on hold and instead of releasing the hold first and then charging the item, they charge the item and then release the hold. Unfortunately if you don't have twice the amount to cover the hold and the charge, you'll go in the negative for a brief moment. Or if this charge is done overnight you could have multiple debits that will get you overdraft fees since your account is in the "negative" overnight while the hold is released. It's a huge money maker for the banks (other banks do this, unfortunately... it should be illegal, but it's not). You have to waste your precious time convincing the bank managers to give you back your money that was literally stolen in erroneously placed overdraft fees.

This happened to me at Regions once before and they gave me the money back, no problem. However, this second time there was apparently a new bank manager. I literally had to spend a good hour trying to reason with him why I did not do anything wrong and that I was not obligated to pay these erroneous overdraft charges due to their improper hold practices. The bank manager would not budge and even had the gall to suggest that if I didn't like it I should go elsewhere! I had been banking there for a decade or more, well before he was even employed by this bank. With that said, I stood firm and wouldn't leave the office until he relented. And relent he did, giving me back all the money that was taken from my account in these fraudulent overdraft charges. But not before alienated me as a customer. Thus my switching to a new bank and thus why I am writing this review. Since changing banks I have heard from numerous customers and area business owners about how unprofessional this particular bank location is. I even have a friend who was employed by them who tells me she left because of the unprofessionalism! I would advise going elsewhere if you care about who takes care of your money.
