Twin Oaks Resort

We have never had a vacation like this one before. My husband, myself and our two small children had the time of our lives. The family that runs this resort went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. The cabins are absolutely adorable. The entire property is so meticulously kept clean it was a pleasure to stay there. The pool area was fantastic, the dock area gorgeous. And the best part is that the family that runs this resort is new. They have so many plans for this resort I can't wait to go back and see what they have done. The location of the resort is perfect, secluded enough for peace and quiet but only a short drive to the downtown area. Silver Dollar City is only a matter of minutes by car. I have every intention of booking my next vacation there and I highly recommend it to all.

don't go there: We were told that this was a cabin by the lake. Talk about misrepresentation... Our "cabin" was a tiny old shack. They were complete with mice and bugs of all sorts. And the lake, well, I guess you could see the lake from up the road a little. As for us, we just got to stay by a small outlet of the lake that was surrounded by trees. It was definately a "buyer beware" situation. You might want to rethink this place.
