So wonderful! My husband is military, so we travel a lot and we love sushi, so we've eaten it everywhere from FL to CA and I have never had better sushi than at Haruno. We currently live in OKC and have made the 5 hour trip several times, just for the sushi! The Ichiban and the Miami are killer.

I almost hate to say it, but this is a good place. Honestly it can feel very trendy, but the food is very good and does feel authentic. The sushi is delicious (I personally love the Salmon Salsa Roll and maguro nigri), good cooked food and bento boxes, which are generously perportioned. Think of a little buffet in a box. One thing I am happy about is the fried tofu- I don't see that a lot in the sushi places in town now but it's great at Haruno.
Friendly staff and very good, but pricey, martinis.

Excellent sushi. I lived in Japan for four years and Haruno's food is the closest to authentic as I have found in Springfield.
