| About: | When our first Golden Corral restaurant opened in Fayetteville, NC back in 1973, a fledgling Golden Corral Corporation took a confident first step into the restaurant business. From day one, we established the tradition of friendly service, great value and fresh, tasty food. Golden Corral family-style restaurants specialize in the biggest and best buffet available anywhere. Our famous Golden Choice Buffet contains an array of hot meat options, as well as pasta, pizza, fresh vegetable choices, and a selection of carved meats at dinner and on Sundays. We offer tempting baked goods from The Brass Bell Bakery, our famous in-house bakery. Piping hot yeast rolls, muffins, yummy cookies and brownies are baked fresh every fifteen minutes! User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWe have always enjoyed eating at the buffet but tonight we are very disappointed. We came about 6pm and were greeted kindly. The buffet was dismally lacking . Many entrees on the hot food bar were empty. including rotisserie chicken,cooked cabbage, lemon wedges,meatloaf no pork on buffet and husband allergic to beef. Steak was tough.Dessert area had empty pans. No orange slices or nuts for icecream. A poor evening out. Waiter was just fine. We seldom get to eat out anymore as our social security checks will not reach so was extremely unhappy about the meal itself!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsi love their roast beef with potatoes and carrots,also their fried chicken is good.they have salads to choose from.the fish is good.the golden corrall has more to choose from on their food buffets.they make excellent bisquits.they make good cakes and cookies.i,ve never ever been disappointed in the golden corrall.

For the buffet style restaurant this one is going to be top notch for the patron or first timer.
The service was fast and friendly and the quality and variety of food provided was and is superior to other buffet style venues.
I beileve as someone has mentioned that the rolls are warm and tasty and well compliment any meal combination that can be created from the impressive number of buffet items.
This is definitely a good stop for a hungry family with members that when asked "what are you in the mood for?" can't decided....Golden Corral in Springfield makes that decision for you and comes through with flying colors on service, cleanliness, atmosphere and superior buffet quality food..... not to mention those never ending warm rolls.
Definitely a win for the family or couple or just that really hungry guest that can do a super sized buffet like Golden Corral justice.
You will definitely get your money's worth...and more.
