Maybe you had caught Cindi on a bad day. If you didn't know she was. very sick. She passed away Jan 15 2009. By looks of the reviews of her customers they loved her and her coffee.
Rest in Peace!
I thoroughly enjoy Cindy and her quirks. We visit the coffee shop often, enjoying the best Latte's made. We even stop in for a dollar cup of coffee just to talk to her.
The last reviewer might want to stick to his Johnson County HOYTIE TOYTTIE Starbucks and leave the common folk alone.
Not In A Hurry To Return!!!!!: First thing when walking in I thought "not very nice". Then a voice from the back asked in a half annoyed voice "can I help someone" but did not immerge from the back in any haste. A gentleman who walked in just before us asked the woman if she could dump out his old coffee, she gruffed and said "what do you think I own the place or something?". The man told her he was going to get some coffee from the ready pot on the counter, she then told him she was the owner and the coffee would be $1.50 took his money. And pointed her cold eyes at my wife and I. "What do you want" she said and fussed with some items on the counter. My wife told her she would have a cup of the ready coffee on the counter. My wife always gets a latte so I knew she was making her decision based on the womans mood. The owner then complained about being tired ( @ 9:30 AM) . If you own or work in a coffee house and your tired @ 9:30 in the morning i don't want your coffee. I did not order anything and I am always in the mood for a cup. We will never bother this woman agian I can be sure of this.
