User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI would drive a thousand miles to get my car fixed then go to this place again. Talk about a rip off. Plus the service managers are so rude. They do not strive for customer satisfaction even when they caused more problems to my Lexus after I took it to their shop. The only "Reliable" thing about them is they will not follow through on the job.

Like many other dealers in Springfield, Reliable has the impression that they are the only game in town. I would use them as a local resource for test drives only. (After several months of car shopping, I never talked to the same person twice. That kind of turnover makes me suspicious of any business.) I've had several friends who went elsewhere when Reliable was unwilling to negotiate a fair price for a car. There are numerous Toyota dealerships within a reasonable driving distance where you will find better prices, period. And I would definitely avoid their service department. My mother bought a used Lexus here and has nothing but problems with one of the tires. To say she's been given the runaround is an understatement regarding what is a potentially dangerous problem that they either can't seem to solve or are unwilling to solve.

We shopped here first because we live in Springfield. We found the car that we wanted and made them an offer. They acted like they where offended by the offer (which was only about $700 off the MSRP), and basically stopped any type of negotiations. We walked outside, and before we got to our car we called Fletcher Toyota, which is about an hour away, in Joplin, MO. They took the offer over the phone and had their car detailed and waiting for us when we got to their dealership. They were extremely helpful. The one thing that I liked most was no matter how bad we talked about Reliable, they didn't bad mouth them at all, they just treated us professionally and apologized for how we were treated. Fletcher Toyota is a true class act, we will drive the extra hour just to get our car worked on from this point foward. BEWARE OF RELIABLE TOYOTA!!
