I took a evening gown to be taking in. The alterations lady Betsy is nice but the owner is not. When i took the dress in it was promised to be finished in a wk on a Tues and that was fine because i didn't need it until that Fri. When i called Tues to see when i could pick up my dress Betsy said she was behind so she couldn't have it finished until Thurs. Now the dressed was not new and it had a few knicks and a small run under the arm, which i knew about and it was documented on my receipt when i dropped it off. Well Thurs came around and i go get the dress and when i get it home i noticed 2 very large runs on the slip of the dress (the dress is sheer on the outside so the runs were noticeable from the outside) that was not previously there when me and Betsy looked at it for damage before she worked on it. I called just to ask why someone didn't inform me about the extra damage that was done to my dress but the manager wasn't in. A few hours later the owner calls. I explained the situation and told him it would've been nice if someone could've at least told me about the extra damage on the dress when i picked it up. He begin to say the most rude things i have ever heard from a business definitely from an Owner. He asked me how much did i pay to have it fixed when i told him $38 he said well thats all your dress was worth, he told me he wasn't going to allow "people" like me try to take advantage of his business, he then went on and on with the rude comments to me....I never once in the little i did get to explain to him ask him for a refund or to either be compensated for the extra damage, i just would have like to have known about it since my event was the next day and i had already waited extra time to get it back. So anyway..if you have any problems with them after receiving services and you talk to the owner don't expect anything but slander and rude behavior.i would never ever go there again nor would i recommend them. only reason i am giving them 1 star is because it won't allow me to give them anything less than 1.
