We have stayed there for 8 years during the Nascar week end. We will not be back. The shower house is nasty. Ran out of hot water on Saturday had no hot water on Sunday. The guy wanted to park us like sardines saying they were expecting a big crowd. Wow where was that crowd? Every year I have seen a decline in campers and an increase in the price. It is convenient but its not all that. We will be staying else where next year along with five other campers that come with us.

My wife and I stayed there last year "2008" and have no complaints.
Nice and close to the Renaissance Festival, shopping and food.
The staff very friendly and helpful.
I recommend a stay there.
As for the reviewer about the gravel road and the dust... Perhaps you're better suited to a hotel; after all it is a campground.

Great place: This is a great place to camp! It's a little on the expensive side for tenting, but, if you are going to the renfest, you can't get closer! The management is very friendly and helpful, and the RV spots look very well maintained. The bathhouse is clean...although it's a bit old, I've yet to run out of hot water! There is a tornado shelter on site and groceries and such are very nearby! I've been camping here for about 6 years and haven't been disappointed yet!
