This is by far the better of the Thai restaurants in Springfield, Missouri. If you've experienced Thai food from east coast cities, you may be able to compare the food with Thai Basil on 9th ave in New York, and Thai X-ing on Florida Ave in DC. The atmosphere is definitely nothing to get excited about but it is well-lit, and looks clean which is much better than the local competition. The owner (Tong) is a very friendly guy who may serve the food himself. The serving sizes are adequate without being ridiculous and the curry is clean and well-prepared. What you may miss in terms of variety of vegetables in your dishes will no doubt be made up for in quality and freshness. The prices range loosely between $8 and $15.
My food tasted like slimy, stinky worms. The smell alone of this place is worth avoiding!
It was fair. The spring rolls weren't that great, and the chicken in my Yellow Curry was a little rubbery.
They really need to use fresher ingredients!
(But I live in San Francisco...so maybe I'm just a food snob!)
