No, it's not a michelin star fine-dinning establishment, it's a BBQ joint - quaint and rustic the way BBQ restaurants usually are. If you don't like BBQ, have a sensitive stomach or irritable bowel syndrome then don't eat here. Have the good sense to eat something bland & spiceless somewhere else...like Furr's Cafeteria.

Or you can be like "Harry" aka "Harry The Sailor" and have a personal grudge against a business and write a few bogus bad reviews about them under different names.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI thought this BBQ was good until I got quite sick from it.
They use something in the spice or the salt that is very harsh or they are not storing their food properly and bacteria is growing. I ate there twice and stayed sick then for about 2-3 days.
I was certain that it was this food as there was nothing else I had eaten that could have provoked such illness in me.Comments (2)

I would have to discount your opinion after I noticed that you and "Harry" have written bad reviews about the same establishments around town. You must have a lot of anger and time on your hands to go around writing bad reviews about businesses under two different names. That coupled with the fact that my family and myself have patronized this place for two years and have never seen it unclean and have never had any ill effects. Perhaps your sickness was in your head?-

i love barbeque but this place is not one I will return to. I don't like Oklahoma Joe's either.
Rj's was not much inside. It is a shack so be aware.
I found the meat to be rather tasteless and too fatty. I will drive on into Bryant's next time.
