User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe one on Topeka Blvd is THE BEST mexican restuarant in town. Their service is awesome and FAST. The food is INCREDIBLE. Love this place. We have tried ALL of the others but always end up back here. Go almost every Saturday.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love El Mezcal in Topeka. I have been to both and I prefer the one on Topeka Blvd. It seems the waiters are more friendly and are more attentive. I always try to go to new Mexican restaurants in Topeka and I have yet to find one that meets Mezcal's service and quality.

El Mezcal is my favorite restaurant in Topeka. My family eats there several times per month. Everytime we hear of a new restaurant in town, we always try it out...but El Mezcal has remained our favorite since the day it opened.
The service is outstanding. It doesn't matter who your waiter is, if anyone on the wait staff sees that you have a need, they take care of it. This is the perfect strategy for any restaurant. It makes customers feel truly valued. Our waiters have even invested enough time in my children, to teach them to order from the menu in Spanish.
The food at El Mezcal is unbelievable. Out of the 100's of times we have visited, I have never been dissapointed. The food is served fresh and piping hot, and in generous portions. The chips are fresh, and the salsa is amazing. They also have the best queso in town, and their margaritas are wonderful. And all of this is served at the most competitive prices in town.
If you haven't been to El Mezcal, definitely plan on a visit soon.
