User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsInformed Staff, Beautiful Store, 50:50 Pear Trees: Horticultural Services features student employees from K-state's horticultural programs, so they are invariably well-informed. We're 50:50 with the two pear trees that we bought from them. One's healthy, and one's turning brown and crispy. Their overall plant quality tends to be good. If only they were open more convenient and later hours--instead of just in the daytime. Also, they're too trusting with opening accounts for people. The former head of our homeowner's association (the land developer) went and billed against his account long after he was no longer part of our association, and Horticultural Services still put his order through but kept billing us...until he finally settled the bill.

I love this place!: They have a wide variety of very healthy plants and it won't break your budget. The employees seem to know what they are talking about and are friendly and helpful.
