Noisy, not really, but whos family dinner time at their house isnt? My husband has been many times with his groups of thirteen or more, and having experienced different levels of capacity was never disappointed by the staffs attentiveness or the environment. I agree, the best chicken in the world by far. He always orders the same three-breast meal with green beans, cabbage, and mashed potatoes. Additionally, we travel from kansas city just to eat there, even bought the t-shirt!
His only complaint, the mens bathroom is small. no more than 2 at a time comfortably, but we've both been in worse local bathrooms, such as Westport, MO, so this is not much of a concern.
You love fried chicken, you gotta go here. oh yeah, the spaghetti is good too. 5 of 5 stars! Great job guys keep up the great work!
Love It!: My grandfather and grandmother live in Redfield, KS, about 45 minutes south of Yale. They would eat there every Friday night after work.
When we were visiting them, we would go with them.
It was the first place I have ever eaten "onion strings", and I loved them!
I also always had to have spaghetti as one of my sides, and their German coleslaw and potato salads were the only ones I would eat.
I will also never forget the old Budweiser sign that would hang from the ceiling in the game room, with the Clydesdale wagon being pulled around it.
if you want the best chicken...: in town this is the place-yeah it gets a little crowded but then I don't mind it much. Family owned and run-they do an awesome job of it!
