I was really excited to try Big Cheese as it had been many years since having there pizza. There was nothing good about the pizza. It's expensive and had no flavor. The only reason I might go back is b/c I bought $50 worth of GC for $10 and I have $30 left.
I ordered a large two meat pie a couple weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon, expecting a product I had come to appreciate for quality and consistency over several years of patronage. What I purchased for $14 and change was a product that appeared to be made of the same substance as the box it came in. I questioned the person on duty if it was really a large, as it looked smaller than the large pies I have purchased there in the past. He assured me it was the same size they had been serving for 34 years. I told him I didn't believe him, and he proceeded to cop an attitude with me. I have seen product quality with this particular restaurant decline extremely over the last year or so. As a chef with 15 years culinary experience (three exclusively dedicated to pizza), I am saddened at the loss of a once friendly pizza place. I will not be returning to this location after this experience, and three terrible weekday buffet experiences over the last five months. Dine there at your own risk.
TASTY PIZZA, Great owners, cozy diningroom and seperate party/game room. They will make anything on their regular menu (which has soooo many unique pizzas), and place it on the buffet. This is NOT CiCi's pizza here, we're talking good crust, and fresh pizzas. My friends and I take our kids there like once or twice a week. Oh yeah, and Thursdays, the kids eat free! Watch whatever you want on TV too!
