Realtor point of view on Mortgage Department: I am a local Realtor and am often asked by the local banks to use their services when I can. I feel this to be a good idea. Recently I had a client apply for a mortgage on a property I also have listed. This loan was to close on Jan. 17, 2005. On Jan 12th I was informed the bank was closed on the 17th and could not close the loan on the 17th so we rescheduled. Today is Jan. 25th and here we sit with a seller still making payments and an eager buyer ready to become a home owner. Communication between the lender and the Realtor are very, very important to me. I need to have confidence in the lender and without comunication this is imposible. I will not recommend another client use Bank of America to obtain a mortgage again. Communication between ALL parties is vital in accomplishing the "Happy Ending" all buyers and sellers want. I can not handle a transaction in the professional manner my clients have came to expect with this lack of communication and obvious lack of respect
