Eddy's Toyota

I didn't buy my Toyta from Eddy's, so I can't speak to their sales customer service, but I've had my van serviced there and it is awful. The navigation system in my van started acting funny, so I took it in. The service person said that a new DVD would fix the problem and that it runs around $300. I asked if that would be covered by my warranty. After another 30 minutes of waiting the service person came back and said it is covered and they would call me when it came in.

I called a month later to check on the status. The original person who helped me was no longer employed there. I was told that the DVD had been ordered, but it was not in yet and that sometimes it takes a long time to get those parts in.

I called another month later. I was told the part was nevered ordered and that it will cost $1,200 for a DVD!

My advice go to Midwest Toyota in Hutchinson. Maybe they have a clue.

Eddy's Toyota is a JOKE!

Last June 2008, I bought an 08 Tacoma from Conklin Cars in Salina and save $1800!

I first called Eddy's, and they wanted $16,800 with a $200 dealership fee and another $150 fee for getting the truck I wanted from another dealership, since they didn't have the color I wanted in stock.

I called around...first it was the toyota dealership in hutchinson, they were about 600 cheaper, second was the one in manhattan..not much better than hutch, but it still beats eddy's.

The last place was Conklin. They had the one I wanted, it was the original one Eddy's was going to get for me. I told them what I wanted, and they gave me a better price, and to do the next best thing...they came down to Wichita to pick me up...since I already sold my vehicle a few days prior to buying this one.

So in the end, after all the taxes and fees were applied..I still saved over $1800, for the same truck Eddy's wanted to sell me!

Eddy's Toyota and the rest of the Steven Motor Group are Rip-off's, shop around out of the city...you'll get a better deal!

SALES: When I asked for a better price on a vehicle, finance guy laughed and said "why would we lower the price on a vehicle that we've been selling?" I checked out other Toyota dealerships around and they immediately tried to make a deal and even tried to sell me the vehicle on Eddy's lot! When Eddy's called back, they THEN offered me a pretty decent price after I told them about the competition. Terrible.

SERVICE SINCE: Eddy's is terrible. There is an air leak in a seal and when I bought it in, the tech. asked "which seal." Isn't that why I brought it to them, to figure out where the air is coming from? Also, I wasn't able to bring it back, so they sent the part back to Toyota. When I was able to bring it back over, I asked if they could reorder the part and they lied and said they didn't have record and that I'd have to drive back over (I live 30 minutes away... a little annoying). They couldn't hear the air leak the 2nd time and when I talked directly to the guy working on my vehicle, he pulled up the record and knew exactly what part to order. Frustrating. As far as rattles, or anything they might have to work to find what's wrong, I haven't had ANY luck the four times I've brought it in. Guy is rude that checks you in and even accepted a cell phone call while I was explaining the problems I was having and intrupted the customer. Bill, tech guy, very friendly however and said they were trying to improve their character. Good luck if you need service. I leave very frustrated EVERY TIME as NOTHING has been fixed. Literally, NOTHING.
