    A classic smoky dive. Pool is 25 cents. Drinks are cheap. Juke box plays only country and rock, no black artists are available, excepting one song by Charlie Pride. The Oasis Burger is one of the best in town. The fries are home-cut. The place is filthy dirty and stinks horribly of smoke. The men's restroom is gross and has no lock and no privacy for the stool, so hopefully you don't need to use it. The owner is as cheap as they come and won't turn on the air conditioning until it gets above 85 degrees and everyone is dripping with sweat and smelling awful. The place attracts a lot of "white trash" and it can get rough occasionally, with late night fights at least once a week. Security is also a concern. Cars are regularly broken into, even right in the parking lot out front. Don't leave anything in the car or you will get your window broken and your stuff stolen.

    When Jimmy Buffet sings of Cheeseburgers in Paradise, he is referring to the Oasis Lounge. Yeah, its a small bar tucked away on Maple, but GO IN...GO IN....and sink your teeth into the best Cheeseburger you've ever had
