Kwan Court was a wonderful place to eat at. Now, its just a dump. It's owned by some pale chinese guy who can't speak english clearly. When I came to eat, he came by our table asking us if everything was alright, uh no it wasn't. "Say it, don't spray it." Plus, our waitress asked us like 2 minutes ago if we were doing alright. We don't need some chinese boy watering our food. My friend at the sushi bar place or whatever they wanna call it. She say she saw some pale guy in glasses yelling at the sushi boys. NOT PROFESSIONAL!!! The food looked like it was half a portion. Not worth the money.
My family and I went to Kwan Court for the Father's Day Buffet. What a disappointment. This was our first time back since the place was "remodeled". Only thing that was different is a fish tank. The place is a dump. The food was cold and did not taste fresh. The waitress messed up our sushi order and just smiled like she didn't speak english. Kwan Court could not have been a poorer choice to enjoy Father's Day. The food was bad, the food was cold, the service was poor and the place is still a dump. We won't be back.
It's been awhile since I've gone to Kwan Court. This review is late in coming because I've actually wanted to let the memory go and see how things might have changed. Not much it seems. The staff of Kwan court can be very unprofessional. Our waiter at the time did the best he could but he wasn't the cook. We had a large party with reservation and a planned menu beforehand. Our food came out sparse. Compared to other tables who seated less than four, our plates had the bare minimum of food proportion spread out on it. It was like being charged the full price of a meal for only being served half the dish. The restaurant wasn't full when we got there or when we left so they weren't short of food, they just economically made more by serving us less. I was truly disappointed. Later, I found out through friends that this often happened with reserved parties. I have never gone back. Hope you guys don't share the same service.
