I was checking out car stereo systems for my daughter and was helped by a very curtious young man who helped me figure out a decent amount for a gift certificate. After Christmas my daughter and wife went back for her to make a final decision. They once again recieved extremly good service and feel confident on their purchase. Since we live out of town and went in late in the day installation is yet to be done. I will leave further feedback for that experince. So far I am very pleased. Best Buy was not my first stop in my search but it was my final stop. My daughter took her car in with her buyfriend to have installation done. She was treated very poorly from the start. Rude installers immediatly telling her she needed to pay another $160.00 (it turned out to be less than $20.00 for additional wires not included in kits). Showed up 15 minutes before opening time and still was 7th because of appointments. (we tried three times to set an appointment was told it was first come first serve only). They finally pulled her car in at 3:00 and told her it would be done in an hour. I finally went in at 5:00 (WE LIVE 150 MILES OUT OF TOWN). I convinced them to start and finish the job that day. They had my daughter so upset she was crying.It was not only the installers but the managers (three of them) that treated her as crap. I am positive if an adult would have been there the experince would have been different. There were three other cars go in and out while hers sat there untouched. I am appalled at the service we were given. Never again will I set foot in that business.
Could live here if I could: If I could live there I could, it's a really great store, I've bought all my CD Players (for my car) there, this computer im typing this on, my TV, my VCR/DVD combo, most of my DVDs, my TV stand, and many more...Guys in the Bay are great
poor service: Geek squad was cutting up, joking, and paying no attention to customer service needs. I was very disappointed.
