The best Mediterranean restaurant in Wichita. I absolutely love their humas and fresh pita. The food is always great. I've tried almost everything on the menu and, it's all very delicious. They even have chicken fingers on the menu for kids. Which is nice when you're wanting to take children who like to stick with the same thing all the time. I like to either order grape leaf & cabbage rolls or the chicken shwarma, with a side of humas & tabouli. It's enough food I can take some home and have a meal later. If you want to order dessert I definitely recommend their tiramisu. The only complaint I have with N & J's is sometimes the service isn't so hot. It's gotten better over the years, but sometimes you'll wait around for assistance. But besides a few inconveniences I love this place, and it's worth it. When I'm hungry for Mediterranean, I come here. Highly recommend!
I am very displeased with their service... I went in to place an order and sat at a table... was in there a good 15 minutes when some lady finally told a guy I had been there a while. He apologized to em then proceeded to tell me the way i was sitting it looked like I had placed a togo order. At that point I was fuming. Regardless of how I was sitting... I was a customer and should not have been made to feel bad for how I was sitting. I will never go back.
I absolutely love N&J's! I lived in Wichita for a few years and frequented N&J's during that time. They have amazing hummus, chicken schwarma, tibouli and baklava, just to name a few things. I haven't tried too many things from the menu, though, because I love my chicken schwarma so much! But my friends have, and I hear that basically everything on the menu is good. It's Lebanese owned, too, which ensures that it's authentic. They have belly dancers who come and dance at your tabel on certain nights, too, which is always entertaining. Haha! But really, it's a great restaurant, and if you're into Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine at all, you should definitely stop by! And even if you're not, you should stop by and give it a try. You don't know what you're missing! ;)
