    Though the Spice Merchant offers a fantastic selection of coffees, teas and gifts, and though we have frequented them for years, we are increasingly put off by their surly attitude toward children. Even when fully restrained and calm, we get looks and comments nearly every visit about our kids' presence and why the SM isn't a place for them. Indeed it is not. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on and we encourage other families to do the same.

    This is one of the greats! They roast their own beans have a great selection of amazing coffee. I'd tell you my favorite blend, but I don't want it to get anymore popular that it already is. The staff is well informed and very helpful, not only with coffee but with the amazing loose teas they offer.
    When I'm at the Spice Merchant, I don't feel like I'm in Kansas anymore!
