    Great Place to Have a Beer and Play a Game of Pool: Chick's Pool Hall in Coffeyville is a great big pool hall in old downtown on 9th Street. There is no waiting for a table to play a match (they have 8 bar tables for ONLY 50 cents a game and 4 bigger tables that rent by the hour). The beer is darn cheap (bottles are only $2 bucks everyday) and since it only serves beer and not liquor, you can take your kids in to play with you. There is a jukebox, video games, foosball, and air hockey. They have Amateur Poker League on Tuesdays (FOR FREE!!!) and pool tourneys on Wednesday nights and scheduled Saturdays. The Wednesday tournaments are great if you are like me, and more of a recreational player. They also have pool leagues for those wanting to sign up. I noticed there wasn't much riff raff in there and that they don't seem to put up with trouble makers which made for a nice environment. The employees were nice and the prices just can't be beat! This is a great place to go and have fun without getting stuck in a bar.
