If you can tollerate the crowd and slow service...: Come on in and find a seat, that is if there is one to find. If you get a waitress to notice you grab her quick and make sure she knows your order(you might tell her that you will tip her if she gets it to you in less than 5 minutes). If you don't you might want to check on your drink order about every 10 minutes or so. We have had to wait upwards of 45 minutes to just get a soda. If you don't want to wait I suggest sitting at or near the bar. I assure you that if you sit close to the bar you will get speedy service. So you have a drink and you want to eat. Again if you can get your servers attention I recomend trying out some of their menue. The kitchen there cranks out some good food for a bar. As for prices, I think you'll find it a great value. A giant glass of soda for only $2.50. Menue prices ranging from $3.00 and up. Nothing I saw was over $10 and even that was a steak and well worth the price. You will be full when you get done eating, and when it comes to their food the wait wasn't that long comparitively.
If you like to sing Karaoke this is one of the best clubs to do it. They have a grade A sound system and their hosts aren't too bad. Some of the participants however need to see a singing coach. But they know the meaning of rotation and you will get plenty of oportunity to sing.
If you can't sing they do have some pool tables. I've seen some good talent playing pool there, so grab your cues and chalk up.
Live music is not far away. Every other Saturday night there is live music at Champs. Most of the bands I have never heard of so I tend to stay away on those nights, but if you want to experience some new bands and some local talent these would be the nights to go. Just watch out for the goupies and hard core drinkers that show up to these shows.
I'll warn you in advance, if you don't like drunks stumbling over you or dancing into your chair, you might want to think about going someware else. If you can tolerate a good laugh when you see them falling all over the place, then step right up and don't drink when you see one of them get up or you might be spewing your drink out your nose as you bust out laughing.
One last thing, if you do decide to go, remember, if there is no parking in the main lot, look to the north, there is a parking lot across the side street, and if you don't mind a little walk(and lets face it if you drink alcahol you might need the walk at the end of the night) then there is ample parking.
This bar is handicap accessable except for their bathrooms, and for the most part is a good place to try if your looking for something to do.
